A blog in your shop lives or dies by the question of what to write about next week. Nobody has to invent the answer. It lies in data that every shop already has.
New products and manufacturers
Every new addition is an occasion. A post explains who the product is intended for and how it differs from what is already in the range. The effort is minimal, because the facts have already been compiled.
Bestsellers without accompanying content
What sells well is also searched for often. If a bestseller has neither a guide nor a usage example, you are missing a post with great reach right on your own doorstep.
Tip: Start with the ten best-selling items and check which of them do not yet have a post.
Searches without results
The shop search shows what visitors expected and did not find. Some of these terms are gaps in the range, others are questions – and a question is a topic.
Questions from customer service
Whatever has been answered three times by email belongs in a post. In future, customer service can refer to it, and new visitors will find the answer before they buy.
Which source leads to which post
Source | Post format | Example |
|---|---|---|
New product | Introduction | “Who the performance check is worthwhile for” |
Bestseller | Guide | “How to read the result correctly” |
Search without results | Explainer | “What are Core Web Vitals?” |
Customer question | Short answer | “How long does the analysis take?” |
Our recommendation
For one month, create a topic from a different source each week. After four posts you will see which source resonates with your readers.

Thanks! Have a look in there once a month, the list changes faster than you'd think.
Danke! Schauen Sie dort einmal im Monat hinein, die Liste ändert sich schneller als gedacht.
